How to ensure your customers only see the relevant products

To manage which products customers can search for, first you need to tag your products and then you can edit each customer's settings to either show or hide products by their tag.

This feature allows you to manage what products the customer can locate via search. A seller can still choose to offer a hidden product to a customer and the customer will be able to view that order and see that product in their "recent products" list.

Step 1: Add product tags

From the settings icon, navigate to the new products page.

Once you are on the products page:

  1. Use search and/or filter to locate the products you need

  2. Click on the "+ Add tags" icon to add a tag to a single product or

  3. or select multiple products and click "Add tags" button in the footer

  4. Select 1 or more tags from the existing list or create a new tag

  5. Press confirm

You can also edit the tag name and remove tags via the triple dot menu in the product tag drop down.

Step 2: Manage each customer's product settings

From the settings icon, navigate to the customer page:

  1. Use search to locate the customer

  2. Go to the Products tab

  3. Select the product tags to either

    1. Show only (the customer will only see products with these tags)

    2. or Hide (the customer will not see the products with these tags)
