To allow sales teams to share live stock updates and create orders seamlessly from available stock, you can import stock files into PrimeX. From the inventory module, click on the stock file import icon, shown below, and follow the prompts to import your stock file.
Once new stock is imported for a particular location, any existing stock for that location will be replaced with the new stock values.
Only the locations included in the new stock file will be updated by the import.
If the new stock file contains locations or SKUs that PrimeX does not recognise, you will be able to proceed and ignore any unknown items or cancel the file import and update your file / settings.
The file must be in csv format and meet the stock file data requirements shown below:
