Our chat service is a real-time communication tool integrated into the Connect platform, designed to facilitate instant interaction between buyers and sellers as well as 3rd parties. Accessible from any page on our site, the chat window allows users to ask questions, resolve issues, and receive assistance without having to leave the sales and order management process.
To create a new chat click on the blue icon and select a contact for either a 1 on 1 chat or create a group and add contacts. Contacts must already be registered with Nui Connect to be available for selection.
When chatting 1 on 1 both buyers and sellers are able to access their order history in one click or create a link to a specific order by simply entering the order number. A green dot indicates that your contact is currently online and a red dot indicates you have one or more unread messages.
You can upload files to your chat by clicking on the attachment icon or dragging a file into the chat window. You can also style your chat messages using the styles editor, use emojis and create lists to make your message really stand out.
You can also use the 'Out of office' feature available from the settings menu in the bottom menu to automatically notify your contacts when you’re away.
